MTP - Amazing north indian food joint in Bangalore

Folks,
The search for good North Indian food takes me to all kind of eat outs in Bangalore, out of which some have been bad, some ok and some decent but none very very good. Recently on a weekday I just decided to visit a new joint - MTP (More than Paranthas) in Koramangala. I have heard good things about it and to tell you the least the joint was awesome. The food is very tasty, has a north indian flavor and the setting of the restaurant is also pretty good. One caveat though the food is expensive you will easily land up a bill of Rs 400-500 per head that too without drinks !!. We tasted Chicken tikka and dahi bhalla as starters which were very well made. dahi bhalla had the right mix of various chat ingredients and it was neither too sweet nor too spicey. Chicken tikka was tender and roasted at the right temperature and right spices which will leave you craving for more of the same. For the main course we chose Dal -e- MTP which is basically dal makhani and Jodhpuri paranthas. The paranthas come as chura i.e. they are fried (calorie rich :) so weight watchers have to be cautious ) and squashed a bit but they were yummy and very heavy. We somehow managed to eat 1 parantha each and were so stuffed that opted not to have a dessert.
So MTP is a good joint serving authentic North Indian food where the choice of Paranthas will overwhelm you and we definitely plan to visit MTP again.

So 5/5 for MTP and must visit for people who love North Indian food.
